Photographic Prints
Once you have enjoyed your Powder and Paint Photography studio or location experience, you'll want to view your images and chose a format on which you want them to be produced.
We provide photographic prints for our online and portfolio customers only and your images can be supplied in a variety of sizes from postcard through to poster size.
These days with modern digital technology, we can provide images in traditional colour, black and white, sepia, or in more contemporary tonal ranges and a variety of these styles would be available for you to see at the viewing.
Once you've decided on the images and their size, then your choices are all sent away to a professional photographic laboratory for printing. We do not print them ourselves. In our experience' we have found that there are a several advantages to using a professional lab:
-
Each & every image is colour graded, density and contrast controlled
-
Images are printed on Fuji or Kodak Professional paper giving extensive colour stability and life expectancy on all papers.
-
Vast range of print options including standard square and panoramic sizes.
-
Choice of Lustre, Gloss or Metallic paper finishes.
Prints can normally be with you within a few working days of them being ordered but, if you need them in a rush e.g. for a gift, just let us know.
Metallic Prints
For a slightly different look prints produced on metallic paper gives a distinctive look to most portrait, wedding and commercial images.
The paper is processed in the same way as for conventional images, through RA-4 chemistry, thus maintaining the longevity of your images.
Highly saturated colour shots, black & white and sepia images are particularly effective.
With it's glossy finish and metallic appearance, it represents another dimension for creating images with exceptional interest and depth. metallised paper adds stunning visual impact and a contemporary flair to your pictures. This type of paper delivers enhanced colours for rich, bright colour saturation and intense blacks. The metallic composition of the paper allows us to achieve the eye-catching look that many of our clients want.
