Many of our clients have travelled from further afield to visit us at the studio, here in Dalton in Furness and don't necessarily know the area. Being in the heart of the Furness peninsular and on the doorstep of the Lake District means that there are loads of fabulous things to do locally, so why not include your photo shoot experience as part of a complete day out and visit some of the great local attractions and places of interest we've listed here! 

There are lots of  places to eat within walking distance of the studio, here are just a few :

You could see the animals at the Zoo:
South Lakes Animal Park
or the fish and  underwater animals at:
Lakes Aquarium 
Whilst you are there you could take a boat trip around Lake Windermere with:
Windermere Lake Cruises, Lakeside
Or stroll in the gardens at:
Fell Foot National Trust Park
Or have a flutter on the horse racing at:

Cartmel Racecourse
You could find out about candle-making or make your own at:
Wax-Lyrical Candle Factory, Lindal
If you wanted to find out more about the history of the area, you could visit:
The Dock Museum, Barrow
or the magnificent ruins at:
Furness Abbey, Barrow
If you like transport you could take a ride on the steam trains at:
