Your Lake District Pre wedding or Engagement Photo shoot
As part of your Lake District wedding photography preparations, we feel that it is vital for us to understand the type and style of images you would like us to capture on your big day and the pre-wedding or engagement photo shoot is the ideal opportunity to communicate your ideas and discuss any specific requirements you may have.
Our aim is to make the whole wedding day photography experience as unhurried, un-pressured and as unobtrusive as is practically possible and the pre-wedding shoot is a great way to get you used to being in front of the camera(especially if you don’t like having your picture taken!).
The shoot would typically take place a few months before your wedding day and weather permitting would be done out on location. It provides the ideal opportunity for us to get to know you and more importantly for you to get to know us and feel relaxed with us taking your pictures!
The shoot typically lasts for up to 1-2 hours and during this time we will discuss timings for your wedding day, listen to your ideas and suggestions and combine them with our creativity, skill, passion and enthusiasm to ensure that when the camera starts clicking, the two of you have fun, relax, enjoy the experience and more importantly end up with some fantastic pictures of the two of you together!
The session will also give you the absolute confidence that we will work with you to ensure that your complete Lorraine Oates wedding photography experience is as individual, unique and as memorable and as original as possible.
A few days after the shoot you will be invited to choose your favourite image, which Lorraine will mount in a frame which you can use as a signature board for your guests to sign on your wedding day. We can even provide a photographic guest signing book including several of your pre-wedding shoot images if you prefer or framed prints which are ideal as parent gifts.
