"What about copyright of my images?"

All photographic images produced by Powder & Paint Photography are copyright and belong exclusively to Powder & Paint Photography (Lorraine Oates). Under current copyright law, title of the images produced for you remains with the photographer (and not with the client as many people think) for a period of 70 years. As such, Powder and Paint Photography (Lorraine Oates) reserves the right to use such images for display and advertising purposes unless specifically requested in writing to the contrary.

We don’t want to appear precious, but our reputation has been built on the quality and consistency of our work and as such unless express written permission is given by Lorraine Oates (the Photographer) or a representative of Powder & Paint Photography, you may not in any way copy, (this includes photocopies or photographs of computer screen images) enlarge, reduce, edit, publish on the internet (this includes uploading to social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Flickr etc) or in any way reproduce an image produced by Powder & Paint Photography for you as this represents an infringement of Copyright Law.
